Science:

5-PS1-1 Develop a model to describe that matter is made of particles too small to be seen.

5-PS1-2 Measures/graphs quantities to show the weight of matter is conserved

5-PS1-3 Make observations and measurements to identify materials based on their properties.

5-PS1-4 Investigates to determine if mixing substances makes new substances

5-ESS1-1 Supports an argument about the light of the sun relative to distance

5-PS2-1 Support an argument that the gravity pulls objects downward

5-ESS1-2 Graphs data to show patterns of changes in shadows and stars

5-LS1-1 Support an argument that plants get the materials they need for growth from air and water.

5-LS2-1 Develops a model to describe the movement of matter

5-PS3-1 Describes that energy in animals’ food once came from the sun

5-ESS2-1 Describes ways geosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere interact

5-ESS2-2 Graphs the amounts of salt water and fresh water in various reservoirs

5-ESS3-1 Finds info about how communities use science to protect resources
